VOTER PROTECTION
The NAACP helps to protect the right to VOTE. States have introduced hundreds of measures to restrict the right to vote. Our democracy must meet these challenges by adopting reforms that promote safe and accessible elections.
HEALTH CARE ADVOCACY
The NAACP is an advocate for quality health care for African Americans and their families. Over 10 million people have lost their Medicaid health coverage, with communities of color bearing the brunt of the impact. The federal government has the power to provide incentives and urge these state leaders to take the actions necessary to pause scrutiny, and create an automated renewal process.
